2017 - Reunion Row

The impetus of getting the boat back together, the 25th reunion.

2017 Head of the Charles

The debut of the rowing kit and seeing if we can make this virtual boat/remote training thing work: the 2017 HOCR.

2018 San Diego Crew Classic

We all need a reason to train over the winter… why not a trip to San Diego?

2018 World Masters

This motley crew did surprising well at the World Masters… almost taking home a medal! And they thought they were just looking for an excuse to travel to Florida in September.

2018 Head of the Charles

We had two members rowing incognito (Stroke and Bow) as part of the Warren Rowing Club.

2019 San Diego Crew Classic

I think we’re getting the hang of this rowing thing…

2019 Head of the Charles

This picture perfectly captures the suffering of a crew having mercilessly passed another crew at the Eliot Bridge as we go into the home stretch.

2021 Head of the Charles

We celebrated the COVID hiatus with a beautiful day on the Charles River.

2022 San Diego Crew Classic

It was great to be back in San Diego after a 2 year COVID hiatus.

2022 Head of the Charles

Once again we got lucky with the weather and a fast race course (less lucky that our bow seat broke, we had to swap it out at the MIT boathouse [thanks!] and then sprinted to the start where we were the last in our heat… at least we had people to chase!). This year also saw the inaugural row of the mixed Death Barge and Black Death

2023 San Diego Crew Classic

In spite of last minute COVID, colds, snowboarding and old age injuries, we managed to keep the team healthy enough to row two races with some amazing guest coxing from Dani.

2024 - San Diego Crew Classic

We’ve expanded the lineup to include a mixed boat and in addition to having our strongest showing yet, we got a shout out from the announcers for having their favorite team name.

2023 Head of the Charles

The Death Barge continues to expand. We had 3 entries this year with a quad, a mixed boat (Crimson Death Barge and Black Death) and a Masters Boat.
